Social Services workers are the "'Jane' or 'Jack' of all trades" in long-term care facilities. Due to the recent regulatory changes and Rules of Participation, the expectations of Social Services have changed significantly over the past two years. Therefore, Social Services staff must be flexible and creative in the provision of psychosocial care to those living in nursing homes. This program will include a variety of topics, regulatory issues, and resources for the successful provision of Social Services to each individual resident.
