Colorado Department of Human Services will present on the CAPS initiative as well as the role APS now plays when investigating a report. Information about mandatory reporting, the APS role and case work practices, APS confidentiality and investigations will be covered.This webinar will provide insight as to why facility staff may be seeing changes in investigations in facilities, touch on the APS HIPPA exemption and provide some data on both the APS program and CAPS checks.
